Description
The purpose of this course is to provide:
- PPL Theory knowledge
- Minimum 40 hours of PPL Ground School for the purpose of the PPL Licensing Requirements
- Prepare for the PPL TC written exam (PPAER)
In addition to this course, you will need:
- An electronic device (laptop or tablet) and a headset to work with material
- Canadian Air Regulations (available online)
- Aeronautical Information Manual (available online)
- Flight Training Materials (“FTM”, available and included in our Flight Training Materials online course, or available for purchase as paper version)
As well we one of the two textbooks:
- Book “Private Pilot Ground School” by Dave Parry (“PPGS”, available through Google Books HERE). *For Program students with books packages included in the Program cost, please contact dispatch for a one time code for a free copy of this book.
or
- Book “From the Ground Up” (“FTGU”, paper version)
References throughout the course are given relative to both “PPGS” and “FTGU”
