Description
The Canadian Professional Pilot Program Combo Package is a comprehensive, all-in-one training path designed for aspiring pilots who aim to build a strong foundation and advance toward a professional aviation career in Canada.
This program combines the essential certifications and supplementary training modules needed to become a well-rounded, competent, and industry-ready pilot.
The package includes the following core aviation courses:
- Private Pilot License (PPL) – Learn the fundamentals of flight and aircraft operation. This course covers topics such as aerodynamics, air law, navigation, meteorology, and flight planning, forming the basis of your flying career.
- Commercial Pilot License (CPL) – Build on your PPL and gain the advanced knowledge and skills required to fly for hire or reward. Topics include commercial air law, human factors, complex flight operations, and advanced navigation techniques.
- Instrument Rating (IFR) – This rating allows you to fly in low-visibility conditions and under instrument flight rules. You’ll be trained to rely on instruments for navigation, crucial for professional and airline-bound pilots.
- Multi-Engine and Seneca Course – Learn to operate aircraft with more than one engine, with a focus on the Piper Seneca. The training includes engine-out procedures, asymmetrical flight, and systems management.
- Night Rating – Gain the skills and confidence to operate an aircraft safely at night, including night take-offs, landings, and navigation.
- Airplane Type Checkouts (S.E.) – Transition between different single-engine aircraft types, understanding their systems, handling characteristics, and performance limitations.
- Icing and Winter Operations – Learn how to identify and mitigate winter-specific hazards, including in-flight icing, runway contamination, and cold-weather procedures.
- GPS Course – VFR and IFR – Master the use of GPS systems for both visual and instrument flight rules, including route planning and approach procedures.
- Controlled Flight into Terrain (CFIT) – Study scenarios and safety procedures to prevent accidents involving unintentional collisions with terrain.
The program includes access to corresponding flight training materials and interactive quizzes for each course. Students are encouraged to complete the training and assessments at their own pace to ensure a thorough understanding of each subject.
